Core Screw Piling are screw pile contractors working for builders across South East Queensland. Screw piling is a foundation method where steel piles with helical plates are wound into the ground like giant screws, using a hydraulic drive head on an excavator. Each pile is driven until a load cell on the machine proves it has hit the load your engineer specified, then cut to height, ready to build on the same day.
Engineered certainty. Installation torque correlates directly to load capacity, so every pile is proven as it goes in, on a load cell, not a guess.
Fast and clean. Most residential jobs are piled in a day, with no spoil to cart away and minimal site disturbance.

Core Screw Piling is based at Woombye in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, so steep blocks, reactive clay and difficult access are our home ground, not an exception.
Our core area runs the Gold Coast through Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast up to Noosa. For larger jobs we travel further into regional Queensland: Cairns, Townsville, Mackay and Airlie Beach.
Not many piling contractors in Queensland will travel that far. If the job is right, we do, and you deal with the same person from the quote to the certification.
